The dynamic duo of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are bringing their brand of young, urban street chic to Century 21. Unlike the previous years (when the sale took place in SoHo) this sale will span over three days instead of just one. It is set to feature the iconic PS1 handbags as well as a small selection of PS11 styles along with ready to wear and shoes.
You can RSVP by clicking here.
(Based on previous experience C21 doesn’t seem to actually enforce the rsvp list for public days but you never know when their policies may change so best to be prepared).

This multi-brand sample sale will have true samples from brands that embody feminine bohemian chic. Tocca hosted their own sample sale last month so it will be interesting to see whether Clothingline will feature the same merchandise. And they just added Misha Nonoo to the list! If you didn’t get your fill at last week’s sample sale then this sale is a must.

Both Theory and Helmut Lang are known to hold sample sales practically every other month but what separates the ones hosted by Clothingline are the prices. Their sales feature true samples as well as damages and irregulars. Yes there will be damages and you have to carefully inspect each item but when you find a leather jacket that retailed for $999 for $45 (undamaged at that) that’s a win! Best deals are the leather piece but be warned they go very early on day 1 (unless there’s restocking). During the winter sample sale items like tees were priced the same as sweaters which did not make much sense to me so beware, not all categories will prove to be a bargain.

July 21 1:00pm – 5:00pm
John Hardy is moving offices and will be holding a one day moving tag sale at Starrett-Lehigh. You’ll find luxury office decor and furniture at bargain prices. Large items can be picked up until July 31st.

Get your summer shoe fix at the Jack Rogers sample sale. His iconic sandals, characterized by whipstitched leather and a rondelle motif, have been a warm weather essential for every woman since the days of Jackie O. At previous sales the sandals were priced at $49 while the lucky ladies who fit the size 6 sample size got to pick through boxes of countless styles for just $20. The sale also features clothing from Jack Rogers along with several other labels that are sold at their boutiques. My personal favorites are the Amy Matto beach dresses that can be had for just $10 (brand new with tags).

July 24    9:00am – 3:30pm
The annual Bottega Veneta sample sale makes its return to the Metropolitan Pavilion. Offering highly coveted handbags, small leather goods, luggage, shoes, and ready to wear for both men and women. While the details are scarce at this point, based on my experience over the past few years I can tell you that if you want to score a bag you need to get there very early tomorrow. As there is a VIP day, its likely that the best items will be gone by the time the doors open to general public but that’s not to say you cant score major bargains. The second day usually offers additional discounts on select categories but by then all that’s left is apparel, size 40+ shoes and maybe some jewelry.

July 27  10:00am – 7:00pm

Expect discounts of up to 95% off on Free People, Nonoo, Mar Y Sol, Alala, Tocca, Havaianas, and many more. There will be clothing, footwear, and accessories for both men and women. During past sales, early bird shoppers were able to find apparel from the likes of Tory Burch and Theory for $50 and under. There will be no dressing rooms available so dress accordingly.

Tory Burch is back with another sale but this one will be a little different. Dubbed the Friends, Family, and Fans Sale, 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit The Tory Burch Foundation, which empowers women entrepreneurs. While the pricing for this sale is not known I would expect things to be more expensive than the Clothingline sample sale last month. If you’re looking for serious bargains on the designer’s preppy chic styles I would suggest to wait until Century 21 goes into extra 75% off markdowns. On the other hand you can treat this sale as a boutique sale but without the guilt, since the proceeds are going to a good cause.

260 West 39th St., 11th Floor

July 30  10:00am – 7:00pm
July 31  10:00am – 6:00pm
Vivienne Tam summer warehouse sale will offer vintage sample pieces along with full collection designs for up to 80% off. The samples are of course a real bargain with prices at $50 and below but only in small sizes. Current season merchandise is usually priced at $100 and above.
