This past Sunday I posted a little preview of Hautelook‘s Korean beauty week to my Instagram account. The five day event features some pretty cool products from Tony Moly, Asamo, Within 5 Days, Club Clio, Peripera, Dermaheal, IPKN, The Face Shop, Mediheal, Leaders, Daen Gi Meo Ri, Goodal, and Soo Ae. Discounts range between 30%-60% off original prices depending on the type of product. There’s everything from sheetmasks to snail creams to toners, essences, oil cleansers, and of course lots and lots of makeup!
While I’m sure that most of you are well familiar with Hautelook but for the few uninitiated 😉 it is a flash sale website owned by Nordstrom. It’s free to join and you are welcome to use my referral link. Hautelook is essentially Nordstrom Rack the online version (minus the penny finds of course) but what truly makes it stand out from say Gilt or Rue La La is the dedicated beauty section and daily beauty sales. Hautelook has also been one of the first flash sale sites to get on the k-beauty bandwagon. Below you can see the current offerings as well as upcoming sales. The prices are not quite sample sale territory but competitive enough especially if you don’t have access to New York City’s abundant k-beauty selection. Shipping is $5.95 or free with a $100+ purchase. This is probably my biggest gripe regarding Hautelook because most of the competitors tend to offer free 30 day shipping with a single $9.99 shipping charge. As it stands I’m personally waiting for all the brand sales to go live this week before placing my order since I doubt I’ll be going over $100. Hey, I need to seriously curb my beauty buying 🙂 too many products and not enough time! Happy shopping and let me know what you end up getting.
