Blink and you’ll miss it! Hautelook is currently running a much too rare flash sale featuring candles and perfumes by Diptyque. With savings of 50% off retail things are selling out quickly so go, go, go! While the selection is fairly small, the discounts are on par with the French label’s annual New York City sample sale. The biggest difference of course is that you don’t have to spend three hours waiting outside in the rain! Normally I would not get excited about any sale under 80% off but this is one of those luxury beauty exceptions. Diptyque, much like Hermès almost never goes on sale at their own boutiques and when it comes to department stores you consider yourself lucky to save 10% to 15% off. Which is why I always look forward to Hautelook’s events.
Today’s highlights include Diptyque’s 2015 holiday candle collection featuring Sapin, Liquidambar, and Oliban individually in 70g for $18 (retail $35), 190g for $35 (retail $60) sizes or as a coffret of all three scents for $50 (retail $100). Also available are the three individual scents from the 2014 winter collection: Hiver, Épice, and Résine in 70g or 190g sizes. Among the fragrances there are 100ml EDT’s of Ofresia, Volutes, Eau de Lierre, Eau de Lente. There are also 190g Jonquille candles for $31 (retail $62) that Diptyque couldn’t even sell out at their NYC sample sale. This is probably one of the worst candle scents that I’ve ever sampled so unsurprisingly they have a hard time getting people to buy this one.

Did you guys end up buying anything? If so what did you get? I’d love to hear about your purchases! Happy shopping 🙂
