Sephora’s Soko To Tokyo Set Is Back In Stock

Sephora’s extremely popular Soko to Tokyo skin care set is back in stock! The Asian themed limited edition set from Sephora Favorites collection made a much welcome appearance two days ago only to be sold out within hours. The good news is that you now have another chance to snag some highly coveted Korean and Japanese beauty goodies. This deal is only available online. My favorite part is that you get to pick and choose which items you’d like to buy. It’s like a dream subscription box and I can only wish Sephora Play offered such deals. Be sure to act quickly because chances are this set will sell out again!

Sephora Favorites Soko To Tokyo Limited Edition Deluxe Set costs $25 ($80 value). It includes a chic travel size cosmetics case and can be customized by selecting five deluxe minis from these 13 products (listed in alphabetical order):

  • AmorePacific Moisture Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System  1oz
  • belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb and Moisturizing Bomb Duo  0.33oz (each)
  • Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel  1.7oz
  • Caolion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo
  • Dr.Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm  0.66oz
  • Erborian Ginseng Milk 1oz
  • Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask  0.95oz
  • Shiseido Perfect Cleansing Oil  1.3oz
  • SK-II R.N.A. POWER Radical New Age Cream  0.08oz
  • Skin Inc. Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask  0.68oz
  • Tatcha Polished Deep Rice Enzyme Powder  0.35oz
  • Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack  1.69oz
  • When Snow Magic Sheet Mask  0.8oz

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);
I linked up the full sized versions of these products in the gallery above. All the minis are listed as $20 value at Sephora but obviously that’s quite an exaggeration. Once you add all the necessary items to your cart and proceed to checkout you’ll notice that the total shows $125. A $100 discount is then subtracted bringing your final price to $25. I’m not sure why Sephora chose to price it in such a way but at least it explains the $20 “value” of each item. Actual prices of these deluxe minis are in the $7-$20 range. My brain is too tired to do the math right now (sorry!) but don’t worry you’ll still be getting really good value ($60 – $80 based on which products you pick) for this set. Too Cool For School, Dr.Jart+, and Skin Inc. would be the best bang for your buck but imho you should go for whatever you like. I saw this as a great opportunity to try some products that have been on my wish list for a long time, like:

AmorePacific | belif | Erborian | SK-II | Tatcha

The SK-II mini is super tiny and probably the worst value but on the flip side I’d have to spend $100+ to get it free from their official site or at a department store. I think $5 for each of these deluxe minis is a fair price. Really looking forward to trying everything!
Don’t forget to use a promo code before checking out. I had trouble with some of the online codes giving errors or displaying out of stock messages. In keeping with the whole Asian skincare theme I decided to go with Erborian’s Yuza Double Lotion (promo code: yuzayuza). So that makes six deluxe minis for only $25! Plus the three complimentary samples that you get with any Sephora order. I picked perfumes and a mask but we’ll see what actually arrives (Sephora may substitute  the samples based on what’s in stock). If you are VIB you should automatically get free shipping. Sephora Flash subscription costs $10 annually for unlimited 2 day delivery and worth signing up if you plan to shop there more than twice a year. There’s also a glitch with this set because it prices at $125 so you actually automatically get free shipping!
On a final note, although this should really be your first step, go through Ebates to earn 4% cashback! If you don’t have an account yet please feel free to use my referral link.
