Hi guys! Hope your shopping week is going well, sorry for being a little bit MIA these past few days. I have an exciting trip planned very soon and I’m also working on adding a travel guide series to the blog! Meanwhile I have some sample sale updates to share with everyone. Many sales have already started their first round of markdowns which gives greater hope for seeing even further reductions this weekend.
Over at 260 Sample Sale, the first-ever St. John sample sale now offers an extra 25% off sale prices. My friend J. stopped by on the first day and shared a couple of photos (including the price lists). Items are organized by type and collection: Couture, Evening, Collection, and Sport. Prices initially started at $99 for tanks and camisoles which was still quite expensive in my opinion but with the latest discounts the lowest prices now start at $74.25. Personally I would prefer waiting for even more markdowns which now appear very likely to take place this weekend.
is also offering additional discounts in a form of extra 20% off
. They usually only have a single round of markdowns during the weekend so this is a rather nice surprise and let us hope that prices drop even further on Sunday. I have not been to the sale myself but was told that first day pricing was almost identical to last week’s Sandro sample sale
and that the selection consisted of transitional and cold weather pieces.
Over at Clothingline, there are discounts on the last day of their multi designer sample sale featuring brands like: Slate & Stone, Narval, Yoana Baraschi, and a few big designers they cannot name. I received a notice last evening that markdowns have started and prices will be as low as $10! This sale offers a good selection of both men’s and women’s apparel.
Frances Valentine and Sleepy Jones are in the midst of their first-ever sample sale. The new label from Kate Spade offers a wonderful selection of shoes, handbags, accessories, and clothing but unfortunately pricing could have been much better considering this is a sample sale. Sample shoes are available only in sizes 7 or 9 and were rather worn looking. There is plenty of overstock in all sizes as well with prices ranging from $95/$145/$225/$295. Yes certain styles can retail as high as $1,500 but I would rather wait for more markdowns (may or may not happen) or wait for the after Christmas sales at the department stores and boutiques.
There are more sample sales for you to shop like James Jeans
that opened today and offers new merchandise (50%-80% off) that’s still selling online at full price. Jennifer Fisher
two day jewelry sample sale ends today. Average prices tend to be around $70-$100 although fine jewelry pieces will set you back several grand while bargain hunters might want to check out a very limited selection of $20 items. Pamella Roland
also offers some additional markdowns for their last day and we are continuing with Century 21’s Designer Menswear
Sale and Quest Collection
Warehouse Sale. Check out the gallery below or visit my Facebook page
