If there was ever any doubt of New York City’s status as k-beauty capital of North America then this latest bit of news simply reaffirms the notion. Glow Recipe, an e-commerce curator and purveyor of Korean beauty will be hosting a special pop-up event next month. Starting March 1 you’ll be able to shop the entire catalogue of Glow Recipe’s products at their SoHo pop-up, aka the Glow Studio. The venue will be open daily through the end of the month. To get things started there will be a special opening day “Happy Hour” event from 10:30am – 1:30pm offering savings of up to 70% off retail as well as a gift (worth up to $40) for the first 50 people in line.
Glow Recipe is the brainchild of Sarah Lee and Christine Chang who founded the company to give women across the world access to Korea’s best natural and harsh-free skincare products. Since then Glow Recipe has been featured on television shows like Shark Tank, their specially curated products are now sold in partnership with QVC and Sephora in the US as well as Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. Glow Recipe carries skincare and beauty items from Korea’s top natural brands like Lee Jiham, J.One, Whamisa, Blossom Jeju, The Lotus, Blithe, Huxley, and many more. I had the pleasure of meeting both Sarah and Christine at their first mini pop-up trends event almost two years ago so I am highly looking forward to what’s in store this go around.
The pop-up is set to run the entire month but you definitely want to be there on day one for all the amazing deals and savings. Although if you are unable to attend there are still plenty of exciting promotions set to take place in the coming weeks. There will be daily promotions on select products, complimentary 20 minute facials (RSVP required), free samples with purchase, skincare consultations, new product launches, and other fun events. You’ll also have a chance to get stamps for your “beauty passport” so the more you come in the more deals you’ll be able to unlock!
