Mark your calendars ladies and gentlemen! Many of you have been asking when or even if Jimmy Choo sample sale will return. Now I finally have some real news to share with you all! The sale will once again take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion. For three days from May 16th to 18th you’ll be able to shop shoes, handbags, wallets, and other accessories at amazing prices.
Amid all the uncertainty centered around Jimmy Choo’s possible acquisition by another brand I’ll admit that I was afraid this sale may not happen. Turns out that it was simply delayed by a few weeks and will bow in on Tuesday, May 16th. If you’ve never experienced the joy, chaos, and madness of this sale I highly recommend you catch up with my previous sale reviews here and here. This is indeed a public sale but the doors will first open to invited guests which means you may have to wait a bit longer on line. Prices have remained the same for the past few years. Expect to find a full range of women’s shoes in sizes 34 to 42 with prices $200 – $375. Men’s shoes usually go for $250 while boots are $375. Handbags are $250 – $450 with additional surcharge for exotic skins. The sale offers a mix of both stock and samples although there is no difference in pricing between the two categories. Samples come in women’s size 37 and sizes 39.5+ have the most abundant selection. If you don’t fall into that size range I recommend going early because by the time markdowns begin the selection in smaller sizes is almost non-existent. Will you be attending this year’s sale? Me too! I'm a little afraid of the resellers though. After all the damage they did at other big sales I'm not sure if the final day will be as good this year.

The RSVP is for general admission so unfortunately you'll still have to wait in line but you will have priority over those that did not sign up. It's looking like there will be a huge turn out tomorrow so those who haven't RSVP'd may not be able to get in and will have to try their luck Wednesday.
I didn't see any tell-tale signs of resellers Tuesday morning. Hopefully they will steer clear today, but I doubt it.
Hi gaime4me! I didn't either which was a bit surprising although Jimmy Choo does have awful resale value. And with sale prices so high it's probably not worth it for most of them. I hear it's pretty chaotic right now but no markdowns yet. I'll update from inside in a few hours!
Hi! I'm heading over in about 90 minutes. I saw a few items I liked on Tuesday, but not for the prices on Tuesday. I wonder if they'll still honour the VIP email if there is a line.
