Who’s ready for the weekend?! It’s time to mark your calendars ladies and gents because Manolo Blahnik summer charity sample sale returns to Connecticut next Saturday, August 19th. The event is organized by Arethusa Farm which is owned by George Malkemus and Tony Yurgaitis, president and vice president, respectively of Manolo Blahnik. Proceeds from the sale go towards Arethusa Farm Scholarship that aids UConn agriculture students. Expect prices similar to the infamous NYC sample sales ($125-$500) and as always get there early for the best selection. Unlike the aforementioned city sales you actually have a chance of scoring a pair of “hangisi” pumps but only if you arrive early enough. So start planning that late night commute or make it a weekend getaway and book yourself a B&B. Don’t forget to sample Arethusa’s famous ice-cream or dine at one of their restaurants. Who’s going to make the trip to Connecticut?
Cash only or debit card is accepted also?
Hi! They are accepting credit cards and cash. Sorry I'm not sure about debit.
Any reports? I'm stuck in a layover at O'Hare, and want to live vicariously through you all….
